Meet the team
Rob Roscoe
Chief Executive Officer
Rob established Colenko in 2017. In a broad career in specialist lending and fintech, he has overseen funding of over £500m of secured loans.
He held leadership roles at Proplend and Sancus Finance, managing operations, funding and strategic partnerships. Prior to this, Rob worked at JP Morgan Cazenove and Mirabaud & Cie, with a focus on arranging funding lines for specialist lenders providing property finance.
Rob studied Modern Languages at Oxford University, and received an MBA from INSEAD in France.
Hemant Arora
Head of Underwriting
Hemant joined Colenko from West One Loans. He has underwritten over £400m of loans across development finance, bridging and buy to let.
He led a team of underwriters at West One Loans, and was instrumental in rolling out new products including development finance. Previously, he worked at Citi, Axis Bank and Punjab National Bank. He has 19 years of experience in underwriting and specialist property finance.
Hemant has CeMAP and CeFA qualifications, and a Masters in Finance and Control from Punjab University.
